Original photograph taken from Bald Hill Stanwell Park. With an elevation of approx. 300 metres, Bald Hill is one of the best lookouts in the Illawarra Region. This reserve is a renown site for hang gliding and paragliding. It was here that that Lawrence Hargrave, an Australian pioneer of flight experiemented with the box kite during the early part of the 20th century.
